Okay folks, it's the morning after Obama's speech and what a speech that was!!! I don't know about you, but I have never been so inspired by a politician as Obama. And, I have never seen so many young people inspired as I have in this election year, and it's all because of one man - Obama.

As a nurse I am very concerned about the 50 million Americans with no health insurance, which many of my friends fall into this category. I am concerned that more and more middle class Americans are losing their health insurance each year. I am concerned that the skyrocketing cost of health care has the working class opting NOT to take their employer's health insurance plan because they are now forced to use that money that would otherwise be put toward their healthcare plan, on food and gas. I am concerned that more and more middle class Americans have "catastrophic" health plans only.

I am concerned about our jobs are going overseas. I am concerned about our national deficit and I am very concerned about the war and our dependence on foreign oil.

I have to admit, I haven't paid much attention to McCain. I would sure appreciate any viewpoints about McCain. What is his stance on healthcare, the economy, the war, drilling for oil? I will definitely listen to the RNC.

It's a beautiful day in the desert!

It seems a shame that only after 8 years of Bush are people finally seeming to realise the importance of getting the Republicans out of the Whitehouse and the reformation of the Democratic party. I think this is largly due to the popularity of both Obama and Clinton. Hopefully the American people won't lose focus and let the Oval Office slip into the hands of the pandering master known as McCain. I used to respect McCain. After pandering to every big business concern, religious right and using the same dirty tactics that Bush used I am over him completely. If he really wanted to have a woman as his Vice President why did he not select one with more than 4 years of political experiance. Hold onto your enthusiasm because you will need it. The next 60 days are going to be brutal.

Speaking as one of the 50 million uninsured and as one that in the past 8 years have moved from a comfortable middle class citizen to a struggling small business owner(that is very close to poverty). I have no intentions of having McCain as my president. The platform that he has accepted- to fund his campaign- Religious right, war mongers, large corporations and fear ridden public have pushed the Republican party away from me.

No matter what McCain has to say in the next 60 days it will not change the fact that he will not end our occupation of a country, he will seat a conservative to the supreme court- to invade personal rights, and he will continue to help the 1% of the population that will "hopefully" tinkle that savings down on me.

He has changed his views, damaged our country in the eyes of the world and decided to stay the course.

I am lamenting the days when the most important thing was oral sex in the oval office, now I think the oval office should be taken to the Hague, convicted as war criminals and hung.
